*** About A Brighter Future Guild***
A Brighter Future Guild was formed in 2017 to benefit uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s Hospital. The uncompensated care program helps families to bridge the gap between insurance shortfalls and hospital bills. Our junior members (between the ages of 5-12) are instrumental to our guild’s success and are continually coming up with creative fundraising ideas while working as philanthropists in the community.
Since forming, the guild has raised almost $80,000 for uncompensated care and has been a Research Champion the last two years, donating a portion of their fundraising efforts to the Anaphylaxis Research Fund and the Solid Tumor Immunotherapy Research Fund. These types of donations ensure that research breakthroughs become better treatment and new cures for kids today and tomorrow.

The kids were full of smiles at our first junior guild member meeting!

The junior members had some very successful lemonade stands.

Many of the kids have had birthday party fundraisers, asking for guild donations instead of presents!

The junior members love attending a variety of events to fundraise and show how kids can make a difference!
Highlights from a book drive video that some of our junior members did in conjunction with their school's student council.
